New Stuff

Happy New Year!!!!!

New blog title- I've come to accept the fact that I am a runner.
New daily book- Simple Abundance, I really love it!.
New stage is toddlerhood- potty training, room switch, big girl bed.
New eating habits- I'm trying as hard as I can.
New running goals- Cinco de Mayo Half but the kicker is Labor Day weekend- Disneyland Half!! :)
New entertainment- finally got Netflix, I'm a fan so far. They have Pushing Daisies!
New outlook- I am trying to actually look on the bright side of life.

And it wouldn't be a true New Year without some resolutions....
#1: Take at least 15 minutes a day to myself.
#2 Run the Cinco de Mayo and the Disneyland Half Marathons.
#3 Try at least 1 new recipe a month.
#4: Let it be.This applies to a lot of different areas in my life but I feel like it's the most important resolution.

That about sums up what my life is like right now. At least the parts I wish to share! Oh yeah, I'm still really into quotes and poems and came across this one this morning that really struck a chord with me.

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were all meant to shine, as children do.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
