Switching it up
So, after my 2 good runs I realized I was in pain for quite a few days after and this isn't a good thing. I decided that I will take my doctors advice and take a break from running. I have to call and see just how long he thinks I should do this. My new "ultimate" goal has been to run a mini triathlon (a "sprint"), and now is a great time to start training. Today we are going to buy me a bike of my own. One made for my needs (running a mountain bike on a trail is just not a great idea) and that I can use in my race whenever that comes around. I have been biking 3 times now and while I hurt (more just tired muscles) during, I feel great afterwards. I am still getting some exercise and now training for a new goal. I'm really looking forward to getting my birthday present and all the fun stuff that goes with it. Ok, that's all, just wanted to share. :)
